Dexter Review: “Smokey and the Bandit”

Through three Dexter episodes this season, it seemed as if I'm watching three different shows.

In the first, Debra Morgan is the new, young Police Lieutenant, encouraged the struggle with his former girlfriend and struggled for a second please his boss and remained independent from his boss. I actually find myself enjoying this angle, such as LaGuerta just sucks and I am rooting for Deb appeared to her.

In the two, two shady characters obsessed with religion in some way a dangerous fanatic. One is a Professor, the other with the faithful, but somewhat hesitant students/children and, together, they took extreme measures to … recreating the death of the Bible? Issuing the warning the coming Apocalypse?

It is not clear at this point, but it's the last picture was certainly haunting and I remain a fan of Colin Hanks and Edward James Olmos. The storyline they just felt a bit heavy-handed so far.

Finally, thirdon, we have broken our hero. Dexter arc really doesn't do anything for me this week. The Takeaway is that it will one day be too old to kill and be faced with the conundrum of what else is there in life? Okay. But not all of us will be faced with a dilemma? Not like that most of the population is afraid of arthritis, dementia, everything that comes along with being a senior citizen?

When Greg Duffy shopping business ideas around in 2008, investors after investors told him the same thing: you're crazy.
